My top three moments from 2014

1. first would have to be playing summer softball
2. second would have to be the start of middle softball season
3. lastly would be the getting my new phone after Christmas                                                              

Playing summer softball was my first thing because I really enjoyed playing with all my friends and I got to go to a lot of other counties that I hadn't been to before. I put the start of middle school softball as my second thing because softball is something I like to do and I was really glad that it was time for it again. Lastly I put getting my new phone i was really glad to get another.

My top three things i look forward to in 2015

1. joining marching band 
2. going on the Washington dc trip
3. going to 9th grade                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   I put marching band as the first thing because I was asked last year but I said no but now I'm ready to be in marching band. i put going to Washington as the second thing because I'm really excited about going. i put going to ninth grade last because I'm nervous/scared.                                         

My Literature Circle Role

In my group I was the artist. I showed Leisl stealing her first book The Gravediggers Handbook. The second picture I drew was Leisl, Max, Hans, and Rosa in the basement building the snowman. My last picture showed the bombing of Himmel street. I showed Leisl with her foster parents.

The Tribute

The person I that has the most influence in my life would have to me my nana. She was always there for me. She would tell me to always be myself and not what someone wants me to be. We would always go out to McDonald's and get an ice cream together. A few years ago she was diagnosed with cancer. This was hard for me because we couldn't do anything we used to do. I still went to her house and we talked about our day but it wasn't the same. After awhile she started getting worse and I couldnt go over there much anymore. She died a few weeks later. I still go by what she always told me. To be myself and not what someinen wants me to be.

Finding light in the darkness

A couple years ago my mom was diagnosed with cancer. Even though she was tired all the time she still got up and tried to have fun with the rest of us.
